I adore old, vintage, art deco jewelry. On e-Bay alone there are millions of sales every day.

Pewter

It all started when I was a 9 year old little girl. I had just bought my first piece of jewelry at Disney World in Florida and it was made of pewter and it was an adorable Donald Duck necklace. It is so detailed, right down to the bottom of his feet, that I am glad I still have it today as just one of my unique treasures.

Peridot

Next came a gorgeous birthstone Peridot gold ring, so tiny, that my two oldest brothers gave to me for Christmas when I was about 10 years old. This made me look at all the semi precious and precious stones and I was instantly hooked. I lost this ring, unfortunately.

Tiger Eye

I had a beautiful heart shaped tiger eye necklace. I wore this necklace a lot as a teenager. I lost it one day and I was really bummed. Then, when I was getting out of our 70’s Impala car, lo and behold, in the gutter, I found my necklace and I was thrilled! One problem though, it was now chipped and the top ring was mangled. It went into my archived jewelry box of unusables and so, I still have it!

Jade and Amathyst

My boyfriend bought me a set of earrings that were exquisitely hand made from a flea market vendor. He noticed me admiring them and snuck back and bought them for me, what a man, I love him dearly! We took a ride on our faithful Harley Davidson and we were flying down the curvy mountain road when all of a sudden I noticed one of my earrings was missing! I was so bummed, and at the next stop I told my boyfriend and he was bummed for me as well. Never again have I worn dangling earrings on the bike! So, a few years go by and it is my birthday…my boyfriend had taken all my solo earrings and had a professional jeweler design the matches. So, yes, I have the earrings back to and I was very happy that I have such a wonderful man!

Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet

My father gave me a really nice sterling silver charm bracelet and for about _____ years he would add another one onto it for my birthday and Christmas and other holidays…he knew I loved to play tennis so he gave me a tennis racquet charm on year. This is one of my most treasured pieces of jewelry. It is so sentimental I look at it and am proud to have been my father’s daughter. I love him very much may he rest in peace.
